Patrick Jensen, Sara’s brother/ Bridget’s Uncle, with the sponsorship of his business associates, Steve Burt and Bruce Lee, held a fundraiser for Bridget on July 9th. The sponsors organized a gathering at Ditka’s in Oakbrook with appetizers and refreshments as Patrick spoke a bit about Bridget and Batten Disease. The attendees learned about the disease and what help is needed for our family. The overwhelming generosity of these gentlemen and those attended was outstanding. We raised a very healthy amount for the Bridget Kennicott Trust. Many, many thanks from David and Sara!
